The Sewing Shed

Dani Stephens #jdscreationsthesewingshed

Many years ago I started out sewing by using a sewing machine on my dining room table, which is fine when I am just making the odd baby item for my own kids, but when I decided to start a small business making children’s clothes I took over the spare room (which is only a tiny 3mx3m but a lot better than the dining room table) I put hubby and the kids to work by building some benches, tables, cupboards and shelving and I invested in some quality machines and equipment.

Well fast forward nearly 2 years and wanting to expand my range to include a men’s and women’s range. I knew the spare room was not going to cut it. I have severely outgrown this tiny spare room so I am now getting a new studio built (we like to call it “The Sewing Shed”)
I am so excited and very keen to move into a space where I am not tripping over all of my supplies and equipment, it will be over 6 times the size of my spare room
